This error message is displayed when Juris Suite is unable to read the Juris license file.
Although the core Juris application includes the Juris License Manager, by default the License Manager is not installed during an installation of Juris Suite.
If the License Manager is installed, you will see the file Juris License Manager.exe in the /bin subfolder below your Juris program folder.
If you do not have the License Manager on your computer, you can download and install it.
ftp://jurisftp:mulligan@ftp.juris.net/apps/JurisInstallers/JurisLicenseManager.zip
The InstallShield wizard opens.
After installing the License Manager, you must open it and add your Juris license file.
The Juris License Manager window opens.
(If you are not sure where the file is located, run the License Manager on another Juris workstation and check the Shared Path box, which contains the path to the folder with your license file.)
If the License Manager is installed but the error still occurs, the License Manager might not be pointing to the correct network location.
To check the network location:
The Juris License Manager window opens.
If the path is different, you will need to remove your current licensed instance of Juris, and add the same license file used by the computer where you are able to log in to Juris normally (see instructions above for adding a license file).
If the License Manager is installed and the Shared Path is correct but the error still occurs, the Juris registry entries might not be configured to give Full Control rights to users.
To configure Juris registry entries:
The Registry Editor window opens.
Locate the Juris registry folder. The folder's location depends on whether the computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows.
Right-click the Juris registry folder and select Permissions.
The Permissions for Juris window opens.
Click OK.
After making this change, you must run the License Manager and add the Juris license file again (see instructions above).
