Unable to View Image in Inquiry Snap In

When you receive the error message "Unable to view bill image" or "Unable to open archive image" it usually indicates that there is a licensing or permissions issue, or that the CMIWrapper.dll file is not functioning as it should. To resolve either issue, contact you administrator and have them do the following.

NOTE: In Juris Suite 2.35 SP1 and 2.4, you must install Juris in order to view archived bill images in a Client Matter Inquiry. This problem was corrected in Juris Suite 2.5.

Unable to view bill image

If you receive an "Unable to view bill image" error message:

 

Unable to open archive image

If you are receiving an "Unable to open archive image" message in Juris Suite when attempting to view a bill image, ask your administrator to ensure that your user ID has the proper permission granted in Juris.

To ensure that the proper permission is granted in Juris:

  1. Double-click Setup and Manage.
  2. Double-click User IDs to display the list of users on the right side of the window.
  3. Double-click on the user name.
  4. Click on the Menu Rights tab in the User IDs\[user ID] window that opens.
  5. Locate and click on the Place 'Client / Matter' on users inquiry menu check box to select it. A check indicates that the permission is granted. (This permission is close to the bottom of the permissions list.)
  6. Click the Save button to save the permission setting.
