Notifications
Notifications appear to alert users that a recurring transaction has
been scheduled to occur on or around that day.
Who gets notified?
- Each recurring transaction requires that at least one user be added
to the Notifications list.
- When a recurring transaction is scheduled, the users on the Notification
list will be the ones to receive a notification.
When do they get notified?
- Once a user on the notifications list logs into Juris, they will see
a notification box showing the scheduled Transactions.
- The user has the option to perform the transaction or defer the transaction.
If the
user performs the transaction, then none of the other users on the notification
list will receive notification of the transaction.
- If the user defers the transaction, then the other users on the notification
list, if there are any, will receive notification of the transaction when
they log in until someone performs the transaction.
How does the transaction get performed?
- To perform the transaction, expand the schedule by clicking on the arrow
button to see which items are listed in that schedule. Double
click the item to open the particular transaction.
- he transaction will open with all default fields supplied and all template
information pre-populated. Follow
the typical instructions for that type of transaction. Any
additional required information not supplied by the template will have
to be supplied before the transaction may be marked ready to post. Save
and close the transaction when complete.
How does the transaction get postponed to a later time?
- To postpone/defer all transactions, simply click the X button at the
top right corner of the notification box.
- To defer a particular transaction, open that item and select the Defer
option
- When an item or items are deferred, the Notification box will close,
but the notification reminder will remain on the status bar at the bottom
of the screen. This
reminder can be clicked at any time to open the Notifications box and
perform the transaction.
How does Juris prevent deferred transactions from getting forgotten?
- If any user on the notification list attempts to exit Juris without
performing the scheduled transactions, a final reminder box will appear.
- The user may click YES to close Juris or NO to remain in Juris. After
clicking NO, the user must click the status bar reminder at the bottom
of the screen to open the Notification box and perform the scheduled transactions.
Can a recurring transaction be canceled?
- Clicking the Cancel option on the transaction item will remove the transaction
from all user's notification lists for the current occurrence of the transaction.
Canceling
will not remove that item from the Schedule.
- For example, if the transaction is scheduled to occur weekly and a user
cancels the transaction for this week, then no users will be reminded
until the next scheduled occurrence of that transaction the following
week.
