Transaction Folders overview

Juris offers the option to insert batches in a pre-defined folder structure. The need for this feature may not be apparent until Juris has been in use for some time and batches begin to accumulate. The transaction folder system is a logical way to keep track of increasing numbers of batches.

The Transaction Folder option is located in Setup & Manage on the Misc. Tab in Firm Options.

Note

Juris must be placed in Maintenance Mode to view or change this setting.

Transaction Batch naming conventions

When an expense batch is created in Juris, the Juris system will automatically generate the batch name based on the following criteria:

Some firms choose to edit the batch names to something more meaningful in their particular environment – but the default names are extremely descriptive and most firms elect to accept the default naming convention established by Juris.
