Profit Center Accounting Overview

In Firm Options, the option may be chosen to Distribute to G/L Profit Centers based on Office Codes.  This setting is applicable to Income and Adjustment Accounts only. If selected,

• Profit Centers must be defined in Profit Center maintenance
• G/L Accounts Numbers in Chart of Accounts maintenance will include Profit Center ID's
• Profit Center Codes will be assigned to Offices (otherwise this option will remain disabled)
• Office Codes will be assigned to Client/Matters (otherwise this option will remain disabled)
