Find an A/P Account

The Finder in Juris can be used to search throughout Juris. When opening the search window, some text boxes are pre-populated with the appropriate defaults for searching only in A/P Accounts.

To search for an A/P account:

  1. Select Tables > A/P Accounts.

  2. Select Tools > Find to open the find window.

Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + F on your keyboard.

Notice that the "Look In" field is pre-populated with the path "Juris\Tables\A/P Accounts" and the "Search Subfolders" option is checked.

  3. In the Named text box, type all or a portion of the code or description.

NOTE: Account numbers are not included in the search.

  4. Optionally, click the Look In arrow to select a different folder location to search.

If that location is not available in the list, click the Browse button to select the folder from a Browse window.

  5. Optionally, click in the Include Subfolders check box to select it, if you want to search within sub-folders.
  6. Optionally, click in the Case Sensitive check box to select it, if you want to narrow the results to only those that match the case used in the Named text box.
  7. Click the Find Now button to begin the search. Alternatively, press the Enter key on your keyboard.

The results of the search are displayed at the bottom of the window.

  8.  Double-clicking on any item in the list to open it.

NOTE: Selecting an item in the list and choosing Form > Delete allows deletion of that item, as long as it is not in active use.

  9. Optionally, click the New Search button to clear the current search criteria and results so a new search may be performed.
  10. Click the Close icon in the top right corner to close the Find window.
